A Space Uncertain

*From my 12 year old mind*

The gray matter and fabric
of time and space
of what is, and is not
I used to swim through it with direction
And a sense that it was navigable, knowable, orderly
That it made sense.
Particles and stars and spirits and the wind
Swirled, stopped, started and danced
While I made my way forward
One foot, then the next
Until now there was a logical next step
Now others are carried sensibly and beautifully
And they enjoy the rhythmical order they march
Through glitter and rain and sun – adding to their
picture and life
But I am carried precariously, then I fight
Only to be carried again
To a space uncertain.
